For all rentals: The name on the reservation voucher must match the name on the contract, and the name on the payment card must be identical. No copies of the driver’s license will be accepted.
DEPOSIT
A deposit equal to the deductible below designated by category is taken by the renter upon signing the contract via bank imprint or pre-authorization, regardless of the option chosen. This deposit will be released 15 days after the vehicle is returned.
For rentals exceeding 29 days, a new contract will need to be signed, including a new deposit.

EXCLUSIONS AND FORFEITURES
Always excluded from coverage and entirely the renter’s responsibility are:
- Damage to the upper parts (above the windshield) and lower parts (underbody) of the vehicle,
- Damage caused to the vehicle due to fuel error,
- Damage to the vehicle when caused or aggravated by flammable, explosive, corrosive, or oxidizing substances transported by the renter,
- Interior damage, including burns, tears, or other degradation,
- Theft or damage to any items of value left in or on the vehicle during the rental period,
- Damage, loss, or theft of belongings placed or forgotten in the vehicle,
- Towing and repatriation fees,
- Fines, penalties, and tickets incurred by the renter (an additional €50 processing fee applies). If ALLOCAR MARTINIQUE receives the ticket after the vehicle return, the related management fees will be deducted from the deposit initially taken when the vehicle was rented.
LOSS OF GUARANTEES
The renter will lose the benefit of guarantees and insurance, as well as optional coverage and services, and will be exposed to claims by insurers or the rental company in cases such as:
- Intentional damage to the vehicle,
- Using the vehicle outside an authorized area,
- Using the vehicle beyond the scheduled return date without express permission from the rental company (€100 for each day of delay),
- Using the vehicle for driving lessons, passenger or goods transport for hire,
- Using the vehicle by an unauthorized person and/or by a driver without a valid license for the vehicle category,
- Participation in bets or challenges, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, mental illness or existing conditions, hit-and-run or refusal to comply with law enforcement,
- Using the vehicle for towing or pushing another vehicle,
- Driving with a hitchhiker on board,
- Intentional misrepresentation regarding the driver’s identity or license validity,
- Failure to submit the accident report within 24 hours following an accident,
- Significant violation of traffic laws,
- Failure to return the original key; in this case, the renter will be fully responsible for any resulting loss,
- Failure to declare theft promptly unless the renter can prove no negligence or imprudence.
PAYMENT
The renter must present a driver’s license and the credit card used for the reservation to pick up the vehicle. Payment is due at the beginning of the rental period by credit card or cash. The minimum rental duration is three days.
FORMALITIES
If an extension is required, the renter must notify the rental company at least 48 hours before the end of the contract. The renter must visit the agency to extend the contract and pay any necessary fees (subject to availability). In the case of late payment, a management fee of €60 will be applied automatically. If the vehicle is not returned as per the contract and remains unreturned after 24 hours, the rental company reserves the right to file a complaint for "vehicle misappropriation." A €300 management fee will be immediately charged.
RESERVATION
A deposit of €100 per €500 order amount is required at the time of reservation. This deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances. If the renter does not appear within two hours of the reserved pickup time, the vehicle will be rented to another customer, and the deposit will be retained.
PREPAYMENT AT RESERVATION
A reservation modification is possible (subject to vehicle availability) at least seven days before the original pick-up date, minus any bank fees. A new rate will apply based on the updated rental period. If the new amount is higher than the original quote, the difference must be paid at the time of vehicle pick-up; if it is lower, the renter will receive a refund. Cancellations are refundable if made in writing at least seven days before the scheduled pickup date.
ELIGIBLE DRIVER
Each driver must hold a valid driver’s license for at least two years for categories A, B, C (minimum age 20) and for superior categories (minimum age 22). Additional drivers incur a surcharge of €40 per driver.
OPTIONS
Our agency offers booster seats for €30 and child/baby seats for €40. For contracts exceeding 30 days, options are renewed automatically on the contract anniversary date.
DELIVERY
If the renter has not picked up the vehicle eight hours after the reserved pickup time, we are required to cancel the reservation without refund.
RETURN
The vehicle must be returned in the same clean condition it was rented. A cleaning fee of €40 applies for categories A, B, and €50 for categories C, D, L if the vehicle is not returned clean. Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. A refueling fee of €20 plus €10 per fuel bar (1/8 tank) for passenger vehicles will be charged if this is not the case. Additional fees may apply for deep cleaning based on specialized cleaning rates. Any delay of more than one hour will incur a full day charge.
ALLOCAR MARTINIQUE will not be responsible for any items left in the vehicle. No refund is provided for early returns. If the renter is dissatisfied with the vehicle, it may be returned within two hours of pickup without charge.
In the event of an accident during the rental period, a new deposit will be required (one incident = one deposit).
TIRES
The renter is responsible for regularly checking tire pressure. Damage to wheels and punctures are the renter’s responsibility. Only our agency may choose tire replacements. In case of tire replacement, the renter will be charged.
USAGE AND MAINTENANCE
The renter is expected to maintain the vehicle (oil, water, AdBlue, lights) and not to drive with warning lights illuminated. AdBlue and fuel are the renter’s responsibility.
TOWING
If the vehicle requires towing due to a renter-responsible incident, towing costs to our agency will be at the renter’s expense and cannot be covered by the initial deposit.
LOSS OF KEY
If the key is lost, key replacement and delivery costs between €50-80 will apply depending on the distance covered.
VEHICLE THEFT
In case of vehicle theft, the deductible is due, and the deposit will be immediately taken. The renter must provide the vehicle key; otherwise, they may be liable for the vehicle's total value.
ACCESSORIES
All damages not covered by insurance (e.g., disappearance or destruction of the radio, safety vest, or warning triangle) are the renter's responsibility. Removing, altering, or concealing advertising stickers will result in a €150 fee.
LIGHT DAMAGE CHARGES
The deposit will be immediately blocked. If the damage amount is lower, a partial refund, less a €60 processing fee, will be provided within one month of receiving the damage estimate. In cases of renter-responsible damage, the rental company may terminate the contract.

ALLOCAR MARTINIQUE, legally designated as the rental company, rents the vehicle specified on the reverse to the renter, signatory of the contract.
Data collected during the rental is necessary for processing; otherwise, the rental cannot be completed. This data is managed by the vendor, responsible for handling, and is intended for managing the business relationship.
In compliance with applicable regulations, clients have access to their data and can request deletion. Clients also have the right to object, correct, limit data processing, or transfer their data. These general terms and the contractual relationships arising from them are governed by French law.
For any dispute, the consumer may refer to the court of their place of residence at the time of the contract or to an online mediation service as per articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the Consumer Code. The chosen mediation entity is SAS CNPM - MEDIATION - CONSUMPTION. Complaints may be submitted at cnpm-mediation-consommation.eu or via mail.
